Tea Time In My Garden

Join me for a cup of tea and a little tour of my garden. Let's see what is in bloom and together we will look for inspiration for my "Tea Thyme" series of tea paintings.

Finding Inspiration . . . . .

Pink Ice Berg Roses are just beginning to bloom.

Bentley enjoying the garden looking for inspiration.

Here . . . .

You can see a little bit of my garden mirror reflecting the garden

There . . . .
Crimson climbing rose.

Wicker settee makes the perfect place to sit and read while enjoying a cup of tea.

Everywhere . . . .

Old salvaged wash stand makes a perfect potting area.

Another special place to sit and relax.

Winter pansies are still blooming - don't you just love their happy faces. Pink canopy of Cecil Bruner roses are in bloom.
Now that we found inspiration in my garden, it is time to paint a blue and white tea pot and cup. I decided to use the pink Ice berg roses and painted the tea pot with a sprig of roses.

I then painted the pink roses in the tea cup.
