Seven Things About Me:
I love being a mom, to me it's the true meaning of life.
I met my husband of almost 25 years
walking down the street in Chicago (literally)!
We live in a barn and though we can't have horses
in our neighborhood anymore,
we have a golden retriever, Hallie, a black lab, Cada,
and two gray tabby cats, Max and Simba.
This is our third house together,
the first was a Victorian decorated in Victorian style.
The second was a colonial decorated in
country French style, and the third,
well you know, is the polohouse barn.
My kids make fun of me when we entertain
and I fuss over the food and details....
they gasp and say " uh-oh.... mom is in Martharella Mode"
--- a cross between Martha and Cruella DeVille. (oooops)
If I could afford to cover my walls
floor to ceiling with oil paintings, I would.
I wish I lived near the ocean and
hope to have a beach cottage someday.
